KSC Thanksgiving Mass at Burnie

On Sunday 28 June at St Mary Star of the Sea Church, Fr Jessie Banez, Administrator of the Burnie Wynyard Parish, offered a Mass of Thanksgiving for the dedicated work and service of the Knights of the Southern Cross in the Northwest of the State.

Knights from the Burnie-Somerset-Wynyard Branch were joined by Mersey Leven Parish Knights and widows of deceased members. 

After Communion, recent State Chairman Steve Coleman presented a brief history of the Order and thanked all those involved.

At the conclusion of Mass Fr Jessie blessed the Knights and widows and sang the Priestly Blessing from Numbers 6:24-26:

“May the Lord bless you and keep you; May the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; May the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”
