Visiting Clergy
Welcome to the Archdiocese of Hobart
We warmly welcome clergy who wish to minister within the Archdiocese of Hobart, whether for a short visit, an extended stay, or a specific event. As part of our commitment to fostering safe, respectful and well-supported ministry, we require that all visiting clergy – whether from within Australia or overseas – complete the appropriate documentation and receive the necessary permissions before engaging in any liturgical or spiritual duties.
This section provides important information and requirements for:
- Clergy visiting from other Australian diocese – Form 1
- Clergy visiting from overseas – Form 2
- Safeguarding requirements and declarations for overseas clergy – Form 2.1
- Clergy of our Archdiocese travelling interstate – Form 3
The Archdiocese of Hobart upholds the highest standards of pastoral care, integrity and safeguarding for all people, particularly Children and Adults at Risk. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring these standards are maintained and upheld by all who serve in the name of the Church.
