Safeguarding Training
A Commitment to Protection and Care
Safeguarding is a core responsibility of every Catholic parish. At its heart, it is about ensuring that every person – especially Children and Adults at Risk – are safe, respected and valued within the Church community. Our Safeguarding Volunteeer Training is designed to equip parish volunteers with the knowledge and awareness they need to recognise, respond to, and prevent abuse in all its forms.
Creating a Culture of Safety
Safeguarding is ongoing. It’s about creating a parish culture that prioritises:
Transparency
Accountability
Compassion
Vigilance
All volunteers MUST complete safeguarding training before commencing their role. Safeguarding is a shared responsibility, and your participation is essential in helping to maintain a safe and respective environment.
Please complete the safeguarding registration form below, and we will be in touch with upcoming training dates for volunteers.
