On Tuesday 25th October, the Northern Youth Council division of Catholic Youth Ministry hosted the Questions of Faith event at the Cock ’n’ Bull British Pub in Launceston.

This event was a chance to ask questions young people had about faith, and a fantastic opportunity to try and stump the fabulous Fr Mark Freeman and Fr Richard Ross who served as our panel for the evening answering all our questions. Of course, we could not stump them and instead they provided insightful and thought provoking answers to the many questions of those present.

There was a great turn-out and feel to the evening as we began with a bite to eat, followed by questions and answers over drinks.

A variety of topics and issues were covered from the married deaconate to evil and suffering, the power of prayer, morality, sacraments, celibacy, Anglicans in the Catholic Church and much more!

Many thanks to the Northern Youth Council for this initiative and organisation! A huge thank you to Fr Richard and Fr Mark for their willingness to be ’grilled’ and their openness and honesty, and a thanks also to the Cock ’n’ Bull British Pub.
