There is no limit to the number of days a person may come. Each day will stand alone with its own content.

RETREAT DATES.
Live in retreatants gather for tea at 6pm Friday 26th October. This retreat finishes with Mass at 8am Sunday 4th November.

Reflection days are Saturday 27th October till Saturday 3rd November.

People choosing the Directed Retreat may use the following timetable, or one given by their director.

RETREAT TIME TABLE
9.45am   Gathering time

10.00am   Guided Scriptural reflection

10.30am   Quiet time (personal spiritual guidance available)

12 noon   Eucharist

1.00pm   Lunch (silence)

2.00pm   During the afternoon quiet time (personal spiritual guidance available)

5.00pm   Guided meditation

5.45pm   Time to prepare for evening meal

6.00pm   Evening meal (silence)

7pm Commencement of Grand Silence (respectful of personal space unnecessary noise should be avoided till the morning)

The day’s reflection finishes whenever you wish to return to your home. You can leave mid-afternoon, or after the guided meditation, or you may like to bring your evening meal and have it in quiet and enjoy the natural stilling of the day as the sunset reflects on the waters.

Costs
Cost per day for a live-in retreat is $100 for full board, meals and spiritual direction.

Day participants will bring their own lunch:  tea/coffee can be provided. (If possible silence is maintained during the lunch break. This is in keeping with the reflective atmosphere of the day).

A suggested donation of around $10 per day would be appreciated. Give whatever you are able.

30th October, Tuesday

‘Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness/justice’

‘Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be satisfied’

31st October, Wednesday

‘Blessed are the merciful’
Matthew 5:7
‘Blessed are the merciful they shall have mercy shown to them’

1st November, Thursday

‘Blessed are the pure in heart’
Matthew 5:8
‘Blessed are the pure in heart; they shall see God’

2nd November, Friday

‘Blessed are the peacemakers’
Matthew 5:9
‘Blessed are the peace makers they shall be called children of God’

3rd November, Saturday

‘Blessed are the persecuted’
Matthew 5:10
‘Blessed are those who are persecuted for the cause of right; theirs is the kingdom of heaven’
