Journey Through Scripture Studies 2019

The Verbum Domini Biblical and Catechetical Institute of the Archdiocese of Hobart is offering this series of bible studies to enable you to discover the link between our Catholic lives today and Scripture! These studies will help you learn what God has revealed to us, his people, in Scripture.

Holy Queen, the Mother of God in the Word of God

This exciting bible study on the role of Mary in salvation history introduces you to the Old Testament background of Mary’s role in Jesus’ work of salvation. The study looks at how Mary is depicted as the new Eve, the new Ark of the Covenant, and the new Queen Mother of the Kingdom of God. The central Catholic doctrines of Mary will also be discussed.

When: Thursdays 6.30-8.30pm, 31st Oct., 14th & 28th Nov.

$20 per course for a study guide
