ACBC Plenary addresses homelessness

On Thursday 5 May, the Catholic bishops of Australia gathered for their biannual plenary meeting at Mary MacKillop Place, North Sydney. The thirteen Commissions of the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference (ACBC) held meetings on the first day of the gathering and this was followed by the six-day plenary meeting.

Plenary 17 discussed the issue of homelessness in Australia today. The discussion paper ‘Homelessness has a human face’ was prepared for the Bishops Commission for Health and Community Services (BCHCS), and the Bishops Commission for Pastoral Life (BCPL)
