CatholicCare Tasmania has a long term commitment to respond to Family Violence in Tasmania and we are looking for equally committed people to join our Safe Choices Service in the North West of Tasmania.

The Safe Choices service provides practical support, advice and referral services to people who are in violent relationships, including those who wish to leave their relationships. It forms part of the continuum of support services available to the Tasmanian community through Tasmania’s Family Violence Action Plan 2015-2020: Safe Homes, Safe Families initiatives.

Required 2 x Case Workers FTE

The Safe Choices Case Worker will provide case work including case planning services to those Safe Choices clients who may require ongoing support. The role will work with Tasmanians affected by Family Violence and will work alongside the Safe Choices State Wide Assessment worker.
