The Liturgical Commission provides advice on liturgical matters to the Archbishop and prepares liturgical guidelines for the Archdiocese.  Commission members are appointed by the Archbishop and drawn from different areas of the State. 

'Every diocese is to have a commission on the sacred liturgy under the direction of the bishop, for promoting the liturgical apostolate.'

The Liturgical Commission meets 3-4 times a year. It maintains contact with national bodies, undertakes specific projects, as directed by the Archbishop and keeps abreast of liturgical matters and issues. Current members are: Fr Brian Nichols (Chair), Mrs Jo Elliott, Mr Ben Brooks (RCIA Coordinator), Ms Ida Saracino (School Liaison), Fr John Girdauskas, Mrs Kath Kennedy, Ms Penny Edman, Ms Cathy Murrowood (Executive Secretary).
