In Catholic social thought, the person is not only sacred, but also social. We are all members of the one body of Christ. We live and grow in community. As part of the one human family we share each other’s sufferings and each other’s joys. Catholic Social Teaching promotes a vision of a just society that is grounded in the Bible and in the wisdom gathered from experience by the Christian community through history.
TCJPC website highlights the key principles of human dignity, subsidiarity, solidarity and the common good. Additionally visitors to the site can access, resources, links to social justice sites and the Commission's newsletter, JustNet
